I first discovered the magic of photography back in high school, when my photography teacher gifted me an old Nikon DSLR. Any moment I could, I  began taking portraits of my friends & family. The entire process was a rush of joy- from the experience of capturing moments & emotion, to editing the smallest of details. I wouldn't be where I am today without my teacher's encouragement & faith in me, and I am forever grateful to her. Since then, my cameras have become a part of me, accompanying me on trips around the world, helping to document my own story.. and now yours!

A little more about me- I'm a pretty simple gal. I grew up on a dairy farm in south eastern Wisconsin, where my days mostly consisted of bailing hay and driving the family gator through open fields. In this quiet life, I found that my creativity could roam free.

As I became older, I grew a deep passion for travel & culture. I have traveled to 27 states (and counting), and flown as far as Hyderabad, India for a family wedding. Hiking, adventure, and being in nature are rooted in my soul.

My love for Wisconsin stayed with me, where I now live with my husband, our sassy cats & a dog that bounces off the walls. When I'm not at a shoot or editing, I like to spend my free time finding new coffee spots, almost anything that the outdoors offer, or at Tuesday trivia with an espresso martini in hand!
